To Everyone:
Sorry I haven’t been around much lately. I’ve been busy as fuck.
See, my work is supposed to have a minimum of six petsitters in our busier months (May-October). We have two. Two who were supposed to be coming back suddenly aren’t; another will be back for two weeks next month, then gone; and another just up and quit because we wouldn’t pay for her boob job (no idea why she thought we would, she just wanted bigger knockers). So it’s me, one guy, and our office manager who can only do like 3-4 jobs a day out of the roughly 50 we have. I likely won’t be getting a shift off until we hire two more people, and that can take a while. Last time it took us two weeks to hire one.
Of course I already told them that I’m quitting if we haven’t hired at least one person by Sunday. Hate to leave them so screwed, but I can’t handle the stress of 12 hour shifts with no break every day. Even tomorrow I’m only getting off for a half an hour around my dentist appointment to have my stitch removed. Which is longer than it takes me to drive there. Fun times.
But I’m getting way off course here. Point is, sorry I haven’t been in chat/around much, and I miss you all terribly. Hope to be back soon!
